It’s our first event of 2027, so think of it as Shine Cine’s kickoff party for the new year.

Prep Bay Live is Shine Cine's live event series for the DFW film community. You get an hour and a half of crew hang, lunch, and time on the gear. Then we record a Prep Bay podcast in front of the room, and you get to ask questions. Then we go back to the dollies. It’s our first Prep Bay Live of 2027, so we're going all out. It's one you won't want to miss.

Meet the gear

A dolly with an Academy Award.

The Academy honored Leonard Chapman for designing the Hustler dolly. His company has been moving Hollywood's cameras since 1945. On January 23, two Chapman/Leonard dollies roll into Fort Worth, and you get your hands on both.
