The FX3 Cinema Line Full-Frame Camera from Sony brings the look and performance of Sony’s high-end Cinema Line to an ultra-compact, handheld form factor designed for solo shooters and small crews. Combining a 10.2-megapixel full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor with the powerful BIONZ XR image processor, the FX3 delivers rich, cinematic imagery with over 15 stops of dynamic range, Sony’s S-Cinetone color science for natural skin tones, and professional recording formats up to 4K 120 fps in 10-bit 4:2:2 internally.

Weighing just 1.6 lb, the FX3’s lightweight magnesium-alloy body features a “cage-free” design with multiple ¼-20 mounting threads, allowing flexible rigging without an external cage. The built-in fan and efficient heat management system enable extended recording times without thermal limitations. Its compact design makes it ideal for gimbal, drone, documentary, or run-and-gun shooting, while maintaining full-frame cinematic image quality.

Professional operability is enhanced with a top handle unit featuring dual XLR/TRS audio inputs, delivering 4-channel, 24-bit recording directly to the camera.
